Jack's Newborn Photoshoot
Baby Jack was born to Garrett and Sarah in January, 2016. This sweet boy was just a beauty, such a little dream man to photograph! I have known Sarah and Garrett for a few years now. I attended their wedding, and have really been able to be a witness to their amazing love filled life they are building together. Photographing this little love bug they brought into their family, was nothing short of an absolute pleasure to this modern baby photographer.Garrett is a Star Wars fan, putting that lightly. So knowing that, I made sure to grab a few of my son's Star Wars figurines for baby Jack's newborn shoot. I remember thinking, "I wish I had a Yoda hat", and when they arrived, they brought just that! How amazing right? I also had just purchased this super rad bowl from a close friend of mine, Maxine Evans, a couple days prior. The bowl reminds me of a half planet, or a moon rock, in a way, don't you agree?Ever since we moved into the new studio space, the lighting has changed my work so much. I am floored every single time I shoot in there. Have you seen the new space? Come check it out! it's a light flooded, serene, peaceful little hideaway.

You should have seen dad's reaction to this set up during the shoot. The parents just swooned as they saw the vision come together. I mean, Yoda, stormtrooper, Darth Vader, can you ever really go wrong with Star Wars + a Newborn Baby?
Sweetest little baby toes, soft little newborn lips, precious tiny lashes, and those cute newbie rolls. That hair too! Baby fever alert, y'all!
Another gorgeous prop that Maxine sold to me. She hadn't used it, and I knew it would be perfect for this sweet newborn boy's California beach themed nursery nook.
