I'm completely swooning over these romantic engagement photos. Alex and Mackenna are the most adorable love birds! Met as youngins, departed ways in high school only to find themselves in each other's arms years later after college. One day they decided to meet up for coffee after to catch up and the sparks lit up from there. They say, sometimes your best loves are the ones you were friends with first, and this is no exception with Alex and Mackenna.The groom, Alex, as a paramedic for the L.A. City Fire Department, and MacKenna, the bride, as a teacher to the 1st grade of the Los Angeles Unified School District, it's no wonder these two have such caring and nurturing souls towards one another.These two will be tying the knot at Malibu Rocky Oaks this coming October and I could not be more thrilled! I have been DYING to photograph a wedding at this amazing venue when I started following the owner about 3-4 years ago on instagram. This venue is insane... it's a winery with such high elevation in Malibu, CA, that you are actually above the cloud covering. They call this "mediterranean microclimate", which makes ammaaaazing wine! Did I mention this amazing Estate is nestled in the Malibu Mountains, at one of the highest peaks at that! Talk about unreal sunset photos.
