Aiden's One Year Story

Can you believe Aiden is already one year old? I have been photographing this sweet boy since he was just a few days old. Do you remember his sweet newborn session? Do you also remember the sweet toe grabbing 7 month old? I also had the pleasure of photographing his hot mama while he was in her belly, check the McCue's beautiful maternity session. Watching Aiden grow has been so amazing. He really has developed so much personality, walked before he was one, and given so much love to his family. I think that is my favorite part of my baby plan. Watching families like the McCue family, grow more in love with the little life as he grows from a sweet little newborn to a running around full of energy and so much personality, one-year-old. Seeing the bond between father and son, the sibling connection, and the love in mama's heart develop more and more at each session. I mean look at his cute face! How couldn't you fall more in love?

Aiden's Malibu Session

Aiden's mama wanted to do a beach session for his first birthday shoot because they are moving to Las Vegas from Brentwood, CA and wanted a family shoot remembering the beautiful beach. We wanted to focus on the fact that Aiden loves boats but also wanted to really make this shoot fun and playful as they wish a farewell to California. We wanted to keep this shoot about them, not too many props, but still very whimsical, nautical, and rustic. We found a lifeguard station with the number 1 which fit perfectly for his one-year baby photos, and also had some fun playing on the Malibu Pier. We kept the colors very neutral with little bits of Ocean blue to focus on the beach and boy aspect of the shoot. Aiden is such a sweet boy and I am so sad to see this family move. I will just have to visit them in Las Vegas for their next shoot.
