Thor turned one! Yup, I feel like we JUST did his sitting up portraits! Mama wanted to bring the stars back, but we gave it a little twist. A super cute constellation themed cake for his cake smash session in the studio. This gorgeous cake was made by Sierra, from Sweet Art Bake Shop in Simi Valley, CA. I actually went to highschool with the owner, funny story! This session is often times, babies first time eating sugar, so it's always interesting to watch them experience it. Some devour, and some are shy and timid. Ready to see Thor's expression?How adorable that Sierra spelled Thor's name with the stars? His mom really made his session unique by bringing some of his favorite and UNIQUE wooden toys, cute outfits, etc. I had so much fun photographing Thor's first year!
