Baby Cameron came all the way to West Hills from San Gabriel for his newborn photography session at just 12 days of age. He was such a sweet little bug. He didn't like my props much though, his favorite part of the shoot were the moments with his family, cuddled up on mama's chest. We were able to grab some really fun shots with big brother and his adorable baby toes, fingers, and rolls. I love these first few moments of baby's life. These are moments you will never be able to get back. The smell of the freshness will fade away, the pure innocence will be distant, the tiny details will be quickly be forgotten. The only thing left you have, is these moments that are beautifully frozen, so you can remember in just a moment, everything about your baby's newborn days.

I recently went through all my props and got rid of most of my bright colored items. I love the neutral colors in the studio now. Focusing on textures and adding colors into props, wraps, etc. I think baby's beautiful newborn skin should be the focus, not everything around it. Don't you agree?
