Jocelyn's Newborn Photography Story

Some of you may have been following Bob and Tiffany's story through my work for a while now. I photographed Charlie 5 years ago when he was a newborn (wish I still had those images to share!), as well as Bob and Tiffany's engagement, their beautiful rustic wedding at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills, and now their newest addition, Jocelyn.I have absolutely just loved watching their family grow and flourish in so many aspects of life and many forms of love. While, their oldest Charlie, wasn't able to attend his little sister's newborn shoot, because he was in school, he was still very much there in spirit.During a newborn shoot, there is a lot of downtime. I like to leave time for baby to be fed, changed, rocked to sleep (sometimes more than once). During this downtime I really get the opportunity in getting to know more about the families that walk into my studio. How their birth experience was, their approach to parenting, what they've learned along the process of these first 6-10 days, etc. I get to hear so many amazing way new parents plan to raise a child. Some know exactly what they are going to do, some are more go with the flow. Either way, it's such an inspiring experience to see two people come together, and change for this miraculous little human they just brought into this world.
