Elan + Hilary's Wedding | Mattei's Tavern | Los Olivos Wedding Photographer

Los Olivos Wedding Photographer

Hilary + Elan's wedding was at this adorable little tavern in Los Olivos called Mattei's Tavern. The sweet couple met through mutual friends and instantly hit it off. It was so cute getting to know their body language towards each other during the engagement session we did in Woodland Hills, CA. An engagement session is a great place for me to learn the couple and for us to "practice" getting comfortable with one another before the big day! I still have to post that shoot, guys! My apologies for my lack of blogging lately. This year has been a whirlwind over here! I promise to post a personal post soon and more from all of the last years of amazing shoots!

Family and Friends

It was so sweet to witness these two marry as their family from all over, even Israel, came out to see these two become one. It's so special to see family come from all over the world to be apart of a couples big day. There are a lot of families who don't travel, so it's really sweet to see the weddings where they do.It's such a special union when two become one, I think that may be why weddings are my favorite thing to photograph. Who doesn't love LOVE? I know I do! Family, romance, heartwarming moments, all wrapped up in one day, and I get to photograph it all! It seriously is the best job being a wedding photographer. It's funny because I would much rather photograph weddings than attend them. People never understand when I tell them that. It's pretty simple though. I almost don't know what to do with myself when I'm just attending a wedding. I've photographed over 200+ weddings in my career, so when I'm at a wedding, whether it be attending or working, I have my "photographer" lenses on (no pun intended lol).Enjoy this GORGEOUS wedding! I loved being Elan and Hilary's wedding photographer!
